Downtown Redevelopment
Cape Coral is in the process of re-developing the entire downtown area. This is a long term project, but there are investors lined up for much of the work already.

this site, but following are some artist renderings of what downtown Cape Coral
is expected to look like when it is finished. Cape Coral is in the beginning
stages of becoming a world class, water wonderland. The objective is to create
a city of waterways and walkways that encourage visitors to stroll along the
canal lined streets. Boating enthusiasts will come here to spend a weekend or a
week! Easy access to Downtown for living, shopping and cultural activities will
be a plus for visitors and residents alike.
