Everyone calls me Mike….

I know Florida! I am a native Floridian. I was born and grew up in Miami in the 50’s and 60’s. I made Cape Coral my home in 1974. I love Cape Coral!  It fits my lifestyle and all of my needs.  I can’t think of a better place to raise a family.

Boating and fishing in the local waters is a “must” for me.  The turquoise waters with all it’s varied fishes, not to mention the sheer beauty of the area….draw my attention and my spare time. Being an avid boater, I own a condo and boat in the Keys as well as my waterfront home and boat in Cape Coral.

For the majority of my life, I worked in real estate in one capacity or another. I have been a Real Estate Broker here in Florida since 1972. I have a solid knowledge of commercial sales, lease, and expansion potential.  Title and insurance aspects of real estate have been a consistent portion of my work environment. I owned an Allstate business since 1974 and sold it 30 years later.

When it comes to residential real estate, I keep it simple…What do you want?, What do you like? What can you afford?  Now let’s find the property that fits those parameters. When it comes to listing your property, I tell it like it is…..Don’t expect “fluff” and flattering talk from me….If you want to sell your home, you need to know EXACTLY what it will bring, what you will need to do to it to make it sell, and how quickly it will bring a sale.  Let’s not play around…Let’s get your property sold and give you an opportunity to move on with your future plans.

While in the real estate business I have also had the pleasure of starting, building, and selling several other businesses. I opened the first Allstate Insurance Company office in Cape Coral in 1974 and sold it thirty years later. Started and sold the Bennett Insurance Group in Melbourne Fl. Started Bennett Marine Contracting Inc. in 2000 and in just three years built it into one of the largest dock and boat lift contractors on Florida’s' West Coast. The year 2004 was the time for building Sellstate Allstars, the first Sellstate franchised office in Charlotte County. Sunshine Title of SW Florida was an off chute of my real estate business.  After two years of retirement and an up swing in the SW Florida real estate market, I decided to do what I do best…..real estate!

My wife Pamela and I have five children and eleven grand children. All of my children grew up in Cape Coral. Most of them still live here. We are active members of Faith Presbyterian Church. We’re long time members of Palmetto Pine Country Club….We love to golf!
 
Pamela trains horses in her spare time. She also has three horses at our small cattle ranch outside Dothan Alabama. She and I “get away” from it all at our Alabama ranch, where down home cookin’, cowboy boots, and a bit of “Yee Ha!” add a playful style to our busy lives.
